You have heard or know about it: desperate people do desperate things in the false hope that may be their ticket out of the desperation. Wiser counsel is to take a chill pill and accept the reality and, better, yet, regroup to fight another day.
The Ruto camp knows this thing is over and there is no chance or prospect from them to stop the tsunami headed their way to vanquish the political aspirations of their leader–at least for another 15 or more years.
So, expect them to go even lower than anyone else has to make Azimio’s impending victory one smeared with all manner of lies which shall do nothing to stop the unstoppable. Some of that is this old, stale, irrelevant, and uselessly backward smear of Raila as one without the academic credentials he possesses.
They cannot challenge his leadership and political credentials though they continue to lie about it so they can only resort to smears like this about the enigma’s academic credentials but all to no avail.
No one other than their like-minded buys the smears and lies but they are far outnumbered by those who don’t buy and dismiss the same as kicks of a dying horse.
It was therefore with this as the backdrop I read with amusement and commented as below in a Facebook post by one of Ruto’s foot soldiers; I have included comments by others first mine follows:
